Scheduling Your Eye Exam in Indianapolis: 1st Time Patient 

Here’s everything you need to know to prepare for for your visit to Moody Eyes downtown:

  • Please Bring to Your Appointment:

    • Your insurance card (if you have one). Many vision plans are “subcontracted” to VSP, EyeMed, or another vision plan. 

    • Your current glasses and/or contact lenses. If you have more contacts, please bring one unopened package for each eye.

    • A list of your current medications, both eye drops and tablets.

  • Do you have Medicaid?

    • Please contact us BEFORE you schedule your appointment in order to confirm your benefits. We take some, but not all, Medicaid plans.

  • For Medical or Urgent Care (red, irritated, or scratched eye): 

    • If you have a red, scratched, or irritated eye, schedule using the appointment link or send us an email.

 What to Expect When You Schedule Your Eye Exam

  • When you schedule your eye exam in Indianapolis, it typically takes 45-50 minutes, including selecting new glasses and/or ordering contact lenses, typically takes 45-50 minutes. 

  • Moody Eyes is a provider for many vision plans, including  VSP, EyeMed, Versant, Medicare, and others.

  • Co-pays apply to virtually all vision plans. We will specify your individual costs at your exam appointment.

 Finding Our Office

  • Our Location for Your Eye Exam in Indianapolis:

    • 1st floor of the Salesforce Tower in Downtown Indianapolis. It’s the tallest building in the city.

  • Entering Our Building:

    • Come into the building on the Ohio Street (North) or Pennsylvania Street (East) side of the building. We are located on the first floor by the escalators.

  • Please DO NOT enter from the Monument Circle side – we are on the opposite side of the building.

  • Parking Options

    • Park in the Attached Garage

    • Use the ParkMobile App for street parking.
